Ron is a 1998 graduate from Fairmont State College, now University, with a Business degree. He came to work for the Good News Mountaineer Garage in 2006. Good News started as a pilot project in 2001 and he was hired on to direct the Morgantown-office when it was opened in ’06. He currently serves as the Deputy Director. He is also a licensed auctioneer/realtor along with being a WVSSAC football official.
Good News has provided nearly 4,000 cars to WV families over the years. They are currently obligated contractually to give out at least 275 cars annually but typically do a few more than that. They currently have 3 different programs operating.
