Confetti and Lace: Elevating Events with Premium Tents and More
A Journey from Service to Entrepreneurship
Stephanie Lawson’s journey to business ownership is as inspiring as it is unique. A West Virginia native, she grew up in Core and graduated from Clay-Battelle High School before embarking on a career in the military. At just 21, she joined the Army and was deployed to Iraq from 2008 to 2009, where she played a crucial role in transporting and setting up counter-mortar radar detectors. Her time in the military, which included being stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, instilled in her a strong work ethic and a keen sense of discipline—both of which she has carried into her entrepreneurial pursuits.
After her service, Stephanie returned home and eventually found herself immersed in planning events for her children. What started as a passion for creating beautifully detailed celebrations soon evolved into a business idea. Friends and family often told her she should go into event planning, and after years of perfecting her craft, she decided to make it official. Two years ago, Confetti and Lace was born.
What Confetti and Lace Offers
Confetti and Lace is all about creating unforgettable events. Stephanie’s business specializes in providing premium high-peak festival tents, which offer the perfect aesthetic for any occasion. In addition to tents, she supplies tables, chairs, linens, and chair slips. While she dabbles in balloon décor and signage, her main focus remains on the tent and seating experience, ensuring every event has a strong foundation.
Balancing Business and Family
While Confetti and Lace keeps her busy, Stephanie also works as a school bus driver in Monongalia County, a role she loves. Her schedule perfectly aligns with her business, allowing her the flexibility to focus on event rentals during peak seasons. Being able to drive her own children to school and have summers off is a blessing that complements her entrepreneurial journey.
A Vision for the Future
Stephanie has big dreams for Confetti and Lace. While she currently operates her business part-time, she aspires to turn it into a full-time venture in the near future. With her passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence, there’s no doubt that Confetti and Lace will continue to grow and serve even more clients across West Virginia.
For those planning an outdoor event—whether it’s a wedding, party, or corporate gathering—Confetti and Lace provides top-tier rentals and outstanding service. To learn more about Stephanie’s offerings, visit her facebook at Confetti and Lace.
